Subject: SOUTH SASKATCHEWAN REGIMENT

You have my family's permission to include the following photo in the Regimental archives ........... although I would guess that there is some likelihood you already have it. The photo was taken following the presentation of colours to the South Saskatchewan Regiment at Whitby camp, Surrey, England in July, 1943.

We have visited the Military Cemetery at Bergen Op Zoom in Holland where so many of the men seen in the distance were laid to rest; many by my father. The attachment will be scanned by Norton Anti-virus which processes my outgoing email.

Very nice of you to write. I will include this photo in the photo gallery. May I place the email, below, full text, below the photo? The message from you will give the photo meaning and authenticity for viewers.

Gregory.

By all means ............... Use what you will. I have corrected the hasty spelling and added a few words below. I am also adding a portrait shot which I believe was taken before he went overseas.
