Apparently, as legend says, the SSR had a mascott from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, named "Royal". Here is a picture of his harness. The note that is with it says that it was worn by a St. Bernard named “Royal” that transferred from the RCR to the SSR in 194? (that is how the date is written).
